If a hard hit ground ball hits second base then bounces into foul ground between home and third without anyone touching it, is it a fair ball or a foul ball?

I know that if a ball touches first or third base, it is automatically fair. But what about second base?

I know if a ball rolls foul, it is foul. But is bouncing off second base considered rolling foul?

Ok so the season is over once again for the Pirates. What will it take for them to finally have a winning not finishing amongst the Royals and Devil Rays as worst teams in Major League Baseball.

cheers

So where are the Mets fans who booed J-Roll whenever he came to Shea? Since you booed him before are you going to cheer for him now since he was right all along?
Here were some of the comments over the past months about the Phils. My comments are in brackets:
1. I finally gave up on that team in the mid 90's [Good we don't need quitters and fair weather fans like you]
2. Who's still in first, lol [Yeah you tell me]
3. the only thing the Phillies are playing with are their own balls. [Hahaha...I guess you're saying this about your Mets now aren't you?]
4. They need to shut up until they REALLY have a division championship under their belts and then have something real to brag about. [Division championship? Check!]
5. if the phillies were REALLY the team to beat; they would be going to the world series instead of golfing this October.
That's what I think [You think wrong sucka!]

So here we are, the Phillies are in the playoffs and all the haters need to acknowledge this.

Go Phillies!

Unless he gets beaten down, he will win the triple crown which is freakin amazing!! Don't give me that he plays in a pitcher's park crap either. Check his splits, he pitched better away than home(2.14 to 2.51). What do yall think of his chances of NL MVP?

who has started every game they have pitched in, minimum of 300 starts please. I can't find anyone other than Tim Hudson, who has 280 starts. Mussina came in the season perfect, until Torre used him as a non-starter for one start in September.

If San Francisco Giants outfielder Barry Bonds decides to play in 2008, he will be playing for another team since he is not elgible to play for the San Francisco Giants.

Do you believe he will play for another season in MLB in 2008? Why or why not? Also, what teams do you see Barry Bonds playing for?

had career numbers of: 1,936 hits, 388 DB's, 434 HR's, 1,404 RBI's, .295 BA. 4 seasons with 130 RBI's or more. Yes or no? I say No. He was in there during the steroid era, and was mentioned in Canseco's book and most of the people he mentioned actually have been realized in real life to fruition.

If the Yankees had tied the Red Sox, they would have won the division, becasue the Yankees won the season series. The Rockies tied the Padres with the same record and lead the season series, but they have to play a one game playoff for the wild card. Why is that? Thanks for any help.

At our first game on Saturday I had a batter get to base on balls then steal 2nd, then 3rd. I scored this as BB, SB and SB. The next batter grounded to the short stop. The 6-3 play missed the 1st baseman. Batter was safe and runner got home. I gave the batter 1B, put 1 in his RBI box and filled the runner's diamond in.

Now I am trying to enter the data into a software package and wonder about the error and how the runner got home.

So questions are:
1) How to record the error.
2) Is the RBI on the batter enough to describe how the runner got home.
3) I started reading about earned and un-earned runs. What is that ?
4) Any good, easy to use, cheap software anyone can recommend ?

I have tried StatTRak K-Force which seems really easy to use but not cheap and BallScore/BallStat which is cheap but a bit complex for a novice though seemingly excellent.

As you can probably sense I have never played the game.
Any advice gratefully accepted. Thx.
