If a hard hit ground ball hits second base then bounces into foul ground between home and third without anyone touching it, is it a fair ball or a foul ball?

I know that if a ball touches first or third base, it is automatically fair. But what about second base?

I know if a ball rolls foul, it is foul. But is bouncing off second base considered rolling foul?

fair. One of the conditions for a fair batted ball is one "that touches first, second or third base".

2.00 definition of "fair ball"

And as for saying "I know if a ball rolls foul, it is foul".
No. If it *comes to rest* on foul territory (before passing 1st or 3rd) it is foul.

EDIT: Charles M, a ball the hit the rubber (and presumably the mound in general)and goes into foul territory is foul, by 2.00, "foul ball".

It is a fair ball if it hits any base before going foul.

It would work the same as it hit first or third. It would be a fair ball. That would really be a strange hop the ball would have to take though.

It would be fair because it passed first or third base.

It would be the same if it were to hit the pitchers mound and bounce back. Fair ball.

It's fair... Although that would be really odd considering where 2nd base is.
