Apparently everyone but himself. What a hypocrite. What a leader. Too late to speak out Mr kent. As leader, you start doing something the moment you see things not going right. And that moment was at the end of July. This is now September and you guys are done for good. Now I hope you don't come back next year. I'm pissed. Really pissed.

Who do you think with how they've played, deserves to go to the Playoffs more??
Mets: who have not played good lately but won enough in the beginning to be the leader of the NL east
or
Phillies:who didn't win a lot in the beginning but have closed the gap with the mets by never giving up.......??

and which team will make the playoffs????

I think it might, because the age has been a problem for him, and he's gone for the remainder opf the season. I also think he knows he's becoming less effective.

Is it true that this is the kiss of death for Boston? Apparently there is some historical truth to being on the cover and winding up losing. Anyone know?

In an ignorant marketing ploy, designer of K-Fed-style clothing Marc Ecko has decided to brand Barry Bonds' 756th Home Run ball with an asterisk. (He won't explain what the asterisk is for).
The National Baseball Hall Of Fame plans to accept this ball and display it.
Do you think they should?

I am a Yankees fan, But I am very impressed the Rockies (They swept tye Yanks during interleague) and I think they have a shot of making it. This was amazing based on the fact that a few years ago, the Rockies were in last place. Good luck to them!!

this year he sat out about 1-2 games a week and dealt with injuries lately,

next year as a DH in the AL, do you see him playing everyday (since he doesnt have to take the field) and put up monster numbers again?)

hes 38 home runs short of 800 so im thinking that might be his secret personal goal.

I'm going to their last game of the season on Sunday..and now that they've clinched I'm worried that they'll take out star players. I'm hoping that Georgie will still want to go for the pennant..but if there is no chance at that on Sunday then I'm really worried that they'll take star players out...what do you think they'll do?

what i would like to see is baseball go ahead and do the NFL playoffs format ad 2 more teams and let the 2 Best records get a bye past the first round. Just imagine brewers, cubs, diamond backs, mets, padres and Phillies all in the playoffs right now... that would be fun to see. or how bout Detroit and Minnesota going the rest of those AL playoff teams... i don't know about you but i would love to see some quick 3 game series... please let me know what you think

mean necessarily that they will beat them in the playoffs It deosn't mean they won't beat them either, but are people acting like it's an automatic.

I have seen this comment a few time, have these people not watched the playoffs before, it's a whole new game.
