Reach out and grab it out of thin air, for all the difference it will make.

MLB expanded by four teams in 1969 -- the Montreal Expos, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, and Seattle Pilots. The Pilots went bankrupt (or near enough) and were bought by a Milwaukee consortium before the 1970 season, a group that included Edmund Fitzgerald and Bud Selig. When spring training camp in Arizona broke, the equipment truck was told to stop at a town (I forget where) until the driver was informed he would be driving to west Seattle or east Milwaukee.

Jim Bouton's delightful book Ball Four details much of the 1969 Pilots season, at least from the locker room.

Yeah, the Seattle Pilots only played one year, in 1969. They then moved to Milwaukee to become the Brewers.

Here is there roster for the '69 season;

You're going to have to do a little digging but here's the web site. The Seattle Pilots were affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers.
