Can Carlos Zambrano help the Cubs wrap up the NL Central division title Friday Night?

All we need is simply one win in Cincinnati and one more Brewers loss, and we can pop the champange bottles.

If the Cubs do win the NL Central division title, will they facing the Diamondbacks in the playoffs?

We've come this far and we deserve to win the NL Central division title. So, please spare us the drama for one more day. .

I was wondering if Major League Baseball players have to pay for their own bats, gloves, shoes, etc....which items are provided for them by the team and which items do they have to purchase. I see many baseball players with their gloves personalized and I was wondering if they have to pay for their items or if the baseball club pays for them. What about the catchers....do they have to pay for the chest guard, mask, knee supports...etc?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance!!! :)

this guy has an ERA of like 5.00, and he is the save leader. he must have blown a lot of saves or got a lot of run support atleast.

2 part question

which is the clear cut favorite this year and would be considered a bust if they don't win the world series this year after an outstanding regular season

Which is the BEST OVERALL TEAM heading into the playoffs
Take things such as these into consideration

Hitting: For power, average and timely/clutch hitting (coming thru with runners in scoring position or coming thru with 2 outs)

Pitching: Starting rotation and Bullpen

Defense

Managing

DEPTH:

Intangibles: Playoff experience, poise, leadership,etc

Dude's got an insane high ERA (5.23) and WHIP (1.43)...how the hell did this guy get 43 saves?

Did the Indians hand over 3 and 4 run leads when they handed the ball to him in the 9th and he gives up a run or two in every outing or what?

Sooner or later having a guy with such a high ERA as your closer might come back to bite you right? Or can the Indians get away with the shaky bullpen in the playoffs?

Like, before Barry hit 756 everyone had signs with asterisks, and now his home run ball has an asterisk on it.

The Yankees clinched a playoff spot yesterday i was so relived i was nervous and happy . I had a huge smile when Robinson caught the pop up
They were all happy Drinking champane and getting soaked
I was so Happy i had tears im a emotional person, but what got to me was when Joe Torre was crying we never see Torres emotions i was happy Hope we can win it
The mix of youth and Vetarans was great

Why are people saying that we think so far Cleveland will be and easy team because we won all 6 games v.s them . I dont take anything for granted . The playoffs and regular season are tow way diferent season . I remmber Last year i was like the tigers are going to be a piece of cake and see what happend so i dont judge i Just hope for the Best.

Last , People who were saying we buy the games The Yankees dont this season is Proof that There Pay roll would not help them . What helped was having faith, Battling and the support of the fans and each other in the club house.

Usually contract years are your best. Batting around .220 sucks, I don't care how good at defense you are. The man cost himself millions of dollars IMHO.

Rollins has 701 at-bats this year, with 4 games to play. The all-time single season record is held by Willie Wilson with 705.

The first person to give me the INNING he breaks (not ties) the record will get 10 points.
