from last year to this year his k rate decreased slightly but his era improved almost a run and hes just 26.
what's your take on this guy?

I would rate Snell 9-12 at 3.76 and Gorzelanny 14-9 3.73 about equal on the Pirates staff. Snell is a good pitcher and will get better but if it turns out that he is the ace of the staff the pirates are in trouble. He would be a 2 or 3 starter on most contending teams.

Gorzelanny is the ace in Pittsburgh.
I like Snell alot though, has a huge upside. I don't see him being top flight while still with the Pirates, as the past has shown, Pittsburgh can't hold on to young talent. He could be a good number 2-3 on a better team.

Snell and Gorzelanny rate 1-2, but are very close. They both ran out of gas a bit toward the end, Snell more so. Just hope they don't have the same fate as Zack Duke.

Basically the ace. Although Gorzo is really making the argument over which is more the ace. Let's wait to see how they develop. After all Zach Duke started great and was expected to be the Ace.

It doesn't matter they will eventually get rid of him and give up on his potential.
