Who do you think with how they've played, deserves to go to the Playoffs more??
Mets: who have not played good lately but won enough in the beginning to be the leader of the NL east
or
Phillies:who didn't win a lot in the beginning but have closed the gap with the mets by never giving up.......??

That's what so great about a 162 game schedule in baseball. You have to persevere to make it to the end and the team that comes out on top has earned every bit of it. The games you win at the beginning of the season are just as important as the ones at the end of the season. The Mets have themselves in a good position to go to the playoffs as a division winner or a wild card and I also believe the Phillies have a good chance to go since they finish the season with three games against the Nationals. So I will say the Mets and the Phillies go and the Rockies and Padres are out in the cold.

im a lifelong phillies fan and im hanging on everygame yelling at the t.v. for us to win and i think we will get the wildcard and the mets will win the division...fact is after we 4 game swept them we had a chance to get em n played the marlins n lost 2 of 3 and another bad team took 2of 3 from us n we fell 5 back again.. that was our chance..n we blew it..now we go for the wildcard..
i know we are only 1 game back with 3 or 4 games to go but i honestly think we have a better shot at the wildcard especially with losses to the padres.
who deserves tho is the team that earns it and wins more games.. even though the phillies have had a ton of injuries..u win the games u deserve to get in.

The only two teams I want to see in the world series are the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies. The way both teams have played in the second half of the season, they both deserve to be there. Both are winners!!!

the phillies deserve it because they have been working so hard this year, and they haven't made it for 14 years, the mets made it last year, expect the phillies to win the division and then get hot in the playoffs and you never know, maybe they will have a world series title under their belt, i would definitely consider them a world series candidate

There's no question, the Phillies played better and the Mets coffed it up. The Phillies deserve to win becuase of their overall record and the fact that they didn't give in. Although, Colorado is going to beat them and go to the NLCS...I can't believe it.

I'm a lifelong Cubs fan (no sympathy please, LOL) and I say the Phillies deserve it more. They've had enough heartache in recent years. Seeing as how the Mets have been sliding (or should I say free-falling), I think the Phils will nail it this year.

I'm tired of hearing about this "deserves to win" crap. Whoever IS going to the playoffs is the team that DESERVES to go to the playoffs....end of story.

This might be my shortest answer ever:
Whoever wins more games than everyone else. Simple as that.
Maybe both of our teams will make us happy and take division/wild card, though.
EDIT: I've said it before, I'll say it again...whoever wins the most games. The Phils deserve it.
