too bad my A's are not in it. Tell me which match up you would like to see in the Series? I think The Cubs Vs. the Indians would be a great series but I really do not see how the Indians get past the Angels, Yanks, or Sox- I can't see how one of these National League teams can beat an A.L. team but anything can happen like the Cards proved last year! I'm pumped for the playoffs

With 1 game left they could still end in a tie with San Diego. Why would they not have to play a game to break that tie?

AZ is 90-71; SD is 89-72. If AZ loses and SD wins, they will have identical records of 90-72; why no playoff game? In NL East, Mets and Phils are tied; if both win or both lose, there will be a playoff game Mon. Explain why the west division is different.

Since the batter did not complete his at-bat, does he resume it or start over next inning, or is his turn at bat over? Whichever is correct, how is this scored?

Craig Biggio is going to play his last game in the majors on Sunday against Atlanta. Neither the Astros nor the Braves are in a playoff race. Biggio has been hit by a pitch 285 times in his career, two behind Hughie Jennings for the all time mark of 287.

So, as a sign of respect, should the Braves lob a few changeups inside to Biggio tomorrow, to give him a shot at the record?

between PHL, NYM, SD, and COL, I think everyone agrees the Mets play PHL for the division and SD plays COL.

Now some have been saying that the winner of SD/COL would play the loser of PHL/NYM for the wildcard, but I think if PHL lost versus the Mets they would be eliminated, here's why:

Any game 163 is an offical regular season game, not a playoff in terms of stats, so whoever loses PHL/NYM would have a qorse winning percentage than either COL or SD. So there wouldn't be any game 164 between the NL east loser and SD/COL.

If I am wrong, show me some proof.

Not everyone love to watch the winner team as New York Yankees as only team has won 26 championships. Most people likes to watch the loser teams as they hope that the team can rebound to win the World Series someday.

Most people usually like to watch the Boston Red Sox or Chicago Cubs that they didn't won the World Series for many years. In 2004, Boston Red Sox finally won the World Series to end the WS drought.

Yankees and Red Sox had met in American League Conference Series several times: 1999, 2003, and 2004. Since Red Sox had the greatest comeback from 0-3 to 4-3 as only the professional baseball team can come back to win the series while trailed 0-3 series.

If Boston Red Sox end up with the league's best win record tomorrow as could meet Yankees, the wild card in October. With Cleveland Indians will should get the win record from Red Sox as can host Yankees.

I think that Red Sox shouldn't meet Yankees in the Division Series as could meet Los Angeles Angels.

What do you think about Red Sox vs. Yankees in the American League Division Leauge?

I think that the American League Conference Series is very important conference playoff.
