too bad my A's are not in it. Tell me which match up you would like to see in the Series? I think The Cubs Vs. the Indians would be a great series but I really do not see how the Indians get past the Angels, Yanks, or Sox- I can't see how one of these National League teams can beat an A.L. team but anything can happen like the Cards proved last year! I'm pumped for the playoffs

Yeah I'm excited and I totally agree with you, this is the best time of the year...baseball playoffs starting, college football and NFL first few weeks, and hockey just starting.

In the world series, I would like to see the Angels vs Diamondbacks, but I doubt that will happen. I think it will be Red Sox vs Phillies (if they get in)

The talent is so good at the MLB level any one of the teams can beat any of the others on any given day. There is no clear cut advantage for any of the eight teams and it will come down to who can get hot in a short series. I have been picking the Angels to win it all since the beginning of the season and I see no reason to switch now.

The playoff are great because only good teams play. As far as predicting the outcome, one never knows. Some teams might be hot and others not.

Oh, yeah. Even when my team is long gone the post season KILLS me. History is made every single year. New heroes always emerge. Different teams get the focus. Someone or something ALWAYS surprises people. The 'experts' look like what they are: no better at guessing than the rest of us. It is better than Christmas!!

This is the best time of the year. Give me MLB playoffs with drama, I do not need anything else. This best months of the Year are April, and October. Go Yankees.
