Yes, the Angels can win against Boston.
The Angels top 2 starters has a better combined ERA than the Sox top 2 starters. Also, the last 2 games with Lackey and Escober was just awesome.
Figgins will be the MVP like Eckstein was the MVP last year.

I hope not. I do not want to jinx the Red Sox. The Angels have a quality team and they are Yankee killers. As has been pointed out, history has no bearing on the outcome. Will Beckett outduel Lackey in game one as he did Wang of the Yankees and Peavey of the Padres? Will Schilling have his good stuff against Escobar? Will Lowell, Ortiz, Ramirez and Drew continue hitting? If I knew the answers, I be in Vegas.

well, they haven't had much success in the past, and now they are going to be playing a red sox team with the best record in baseball, and they have a few key injuries. I say no. I would have rather seen the angles play the yankees, because the yankees do horrible against the angels and they would have a chance to knock the yanks out of the playoffs. I think the red sox sweep.

The Angels are going to destroy the Red Sox. Although it'd be much easier for the Angels to play/beat the Yankees once again.

I think so but it comes down to their pitching & playing "smal ball". After Lackey, Santana, Shields, & K-Rod, there's question marks. If Weaver, Colon, Figgins, Anderson, Rivera, & Kendrick can pull their bootstraps up, they'll give Boston a run for their money.
