There has been way to many question saying this about Georgie Porgie . Im wondering why so much dislike towards this guy . I know hes does not like the yankees ask question about the yankees many People get offended . I say dont take it to serious he does to the 2nd grade yankee fans who dont have a sense of humor hes just playing around .I reccomend you should get to know him hes not that bad .HE IS A TRUE TIGERS FAN

1. Georgie is a very knowledgeable source on all sorts of baseball information. He is an avid Tigers and Red Wings fan.
2. Georgie is always respectful unless prodded.
3. Georgie did not welch and actually changed his avatar to the Indians logo, a Central division team that he dislikes almost as much as he dislikes the White Sox.
4. Georgie was a Tiger fan in 2003 when they lost 119 games, that makes him like an abused puppy. You have to be understanding of a fan who has been through that kind of year and did not chuck it all.
5. Proud, you are classy too. I answered a question of yours on a completely different board and threw in a shot about the Yankees and you did not hold it against my answer. Thanks.

Yeah GP is a great guy if you get to know him. It's kinda of funny how people take what he says on here serious. I mean you can't take none of what anybody is saying serious or you'll be a very unhappy person.
What I am trying to say is that it is all for fun and nobody is really supposed to be offended by what anybody says on Yahoo Answers.

I love Georgie! He is very knowledgeable about baseball and he even stopped talking about the Red Sox when I thought he was jinxing them! lol... Georgie is kidding most of the time and people just need to know his sense of humor and appreciate it!

i like georgie.. and yes hes a true tigers fan...
the common thread with those that trash him, is a lot of them have almost no points, and violate yahoo answers tos in the process of trashing him... there are a couple who have some points like the blue pyramid person.. this individual should know what a violation is by now. when they call him out or call names or whatever, violate them. they broke the tos rules..its just not right for others to try to limit what others can say, via bullying or just down right stupidity...
