Yes, I really do. I know he has been known to choke up on the big games, but he really looks different this year. He is growing up, he looks more confident, and had a monster year. Remember he is more mature, you can see it in the way he acted this season. He didn't have that I am better than you grin on his face, and he never gloated. Of course he was happy when he got back into the dugout, he earned that. But he was also a team player, and he really didn't have to push himself this year, it just came natural. Like the Alex of old. God I love that man. God Bless Alex, and all the N.Y. Yankees.

do the letters MVP apply to AROD ? this is a no brainer--of course they do. He will do in the playoffs what he has done all year. And all the analysts think based on history of the Yanks vs. Cleveland, that the YANKEES will advance to the ALCS. Another chance to get revenge on Boston for that 3-0 playoff lead where they then lost 4 straight. The curse of Ruth many not have won Yanks a division crown, but wildcards have (and will again) win the Fall Classic--The World Series.

its not just arod that has to come through in the clutch this yr it has to be the whole team. Remeber last year they got there *** kick because they didn't have clutch hitting.

Yes. He's been clutch all year but something he said in spring training really made me a believer. He said that now he knows that no team will pitch to him in the post-season unless they have to and what he was doing in the last few post-seasons was chasing their crappy pitches. Now he said he'll take the walk if that's what they do. He said that he'll steal bases and score runs but he won't chase bad pitches anymore.
Also, look at his attitude and mind-set this year. He's relaxed, he's having fun and he's letting his talent take over. He's not pressing anymore, even in pressure situations. Watch for a good and possibly great post-season from A-Rod this year.

Hope so, Yanks don't have many other big bats. They're going to need Arod and some great pitching.

Yeah, he will...He doesn't have these expectations that he had the past couple of years. Not to mention, Kevin Long has been working with him. Right now, he's in a zone and with everybody else playing their part, he doesn't have to carry the burden

I'm saying Yes. This is his best year ever so he needs to finish it with a bang and exorcise those demons from past playoffs.
