dude...as a phillies fan i commend you. gratuities accepted on my behalf. the phils played some great ball in the last few weeks of the season. made it exciting once again. is a shame the mets did not play to what the expectations of the team and its fans are. i know new york fans are just as passionate as philly fans are. the mets seemed to have lost focus whereas the phils swept them twice and were doubly determined. it was a most memorable season. i think your mets will bounce back next year and provide some great baseball for the fans and for the NL East. but i still have to say go phils!!

I second that. The Phillies played with heart and passion. The Phillies deserve the NL East crown.
I think it's for the best that everything ended up as it did today because if there were a 1 game playoff, I honestly believe that the Mets would have had their a**es handed to them.

haha takes a real man to bow in defeat but im sorry i hafta eat this up: you guys (asshole met fans) counted the yankees out in JUNE and were all over the place laughin at the yankees. now we can count the mets out in the last game in september because of the greatest choke job in history. i can only hope the met fans dont ***** and complain about payroll and whatever else they want to attack the yankees for and instead just root for the new york team im not bashing you directly but i need to take the opportunity sorry

Unfortunately for the Mets fans, they seemed to peak too soon and the Phils came on strong when it counted.
god help me, but the Eagles are so pathetic I'm gonna have to pin my hopes on the Phils. lol
