Well here is one of the Mets fans. Well since your team is now in the history books as a team that lost a 7 game LEAD. With 17 games to play. And BLEW it I wouldn't talk. At least the Phillies are in the playoffs. The Mets are on the downfall. They have MAJOR issues for the next season. Can we all now forget about the 1964 Phillies? We now have the 2007 Mets! Hey Mets fans how about Jimmy Rollins now?

Just by making the playoffs they gained more revenue so next year they can have a staff of more then just Hamels and then they wont need to make comebacks...anyway not a Philly or Mets fan but I guess Rollins was right the Phillies were the team to beat in the East

Ah, an angry, bitter Mets fan. At least they made it to the first round. As a Mets fan, you have no right to criticize any team. Seven game lead with seventeen games left, OUCH!! That will go down in history as one of the greatest, if not THE greatest collapses in baseball history. What excuse do YOU have for your team gacking it up?

I bet you don't remember me do you? You e-mailed me a few weeks ago to argue, but didn't have the guts to respond when I answered back. You are sad, just like your pathetic team. Here is your brilliant question, what do you think of it now?

Making the playoffs is the goal of every team in baseball because you can not win the World Series unless you get there first. Any time you reach the playoffs then your season has been a positive. Unlike the Mets with that type of payroll and blowing a 7 game lead, that is a negative.Don't hate, congratulate.

Only eight teams were good enough to make the playoffs. That's good enough to say they played better than twenty three teams.

"At least we made it to the Playoffs" is not an excuse. In fact, the Mutts would love to say it, wouldn't they?

Wouldn't they?

You betcha. They're gona rub it in our faces until our eyes, mouth, and nose are off our head. I hope they lose in the 1st round, they don't deserve to be there. I want them to be embarrassed and humiliated in the 1st round. So bad that they start to cry on the field in shame. Along with their loser fans.
