ron a; you spelled "losing" wrong retard (not extraordinary for a Mets fan)
Cubs are the better team and even if the Mets held on to that lead, they would've lost in the first round anyway or they would've fallen to the "Worst To First" Miracle that is the 2007 Chicago Cubs

I really believed the Cubs fans were some of the best fans in baseball. After what you just wrote I'm not so sure now. Be careful putting down another team who had problems in the end. It could be the downfall of your own team! I am rooting for the Cubs this year, but just remember they are only in it because of the problems the Cardinals had this season. Why not just enjoy seeing your team finally having a chance to maybe make it to the W.S.

The Mets will win another World Series before the Cubs and Phillies.
The Phillies have been playing since 1883, and have only one World Championship, and have been to the World Series only 5 times. 2007 is a FLUKE... or is it a PHLUKE!!!

Met fans can't blame it on a goat or on a long-dead baseball legend. They can only blame it on their current dead-from-the-neck-up players.
Met fans, if you only had the good sense after the 2000 World Series to recognize that there is only one team in New York, you would have been spared this humiliation.
