I'm a little ashamed to admit that I love a good baseball brawl. Rarely does anyone get hurt and they sure are entertaining. Does anyone not like them? Do you think the suspensions they give are a little harsh?

I'm surprised Boston is negotiating with him. He didn’t have his best season last year and I doubt he’ll he interested in a pay cut. Plus the Sox don't like signing older players

How about the Rocket? Clemens has express interest in playing next season. He also didn't have the best year but said he likes helping develop young players. Does this experience make him worth it?

My definition would be like this,

True Fan= Someone who knows when their team is playing, who knows where their team is playing, who knows who their team is playing, and someone who is excited right when he or she gets out of bed because they know what ever happens today that they will be able to watch their favorite team when they get home.

A true fan is also someone who doesn't care if their team is playing the worst team in the league they still watch every pitch.
Its also someone who doesn't turn the channel jsut because its a blowout.

But Most of all I think a True Fan is someone who is with their team threw the thick and thin and someone who gets very emotional when their team wins, or when their team loses.

All these guys had solid careers, and are all at least worth discussing as possible HOF'ers. If they retired today, would they get in:
1. Rafael Palmeiro (retired)
2. Andy Pettitte (possibly retired)
3. Jorge Posada
4. Trevor Hoffman
5. Omar Vizquel
6. Juan Gonzalez (retired)
7. Mike Piazza
8. Jeff Kent
9. Jeff Bagwell (retired)
10. Alfonso Soriano

This is an ongoing debate at work. One guy disagrees with us and says while not normal it's OK to say a baseball score as points. -IE - the blue jays won by 2 points as opposed to the blue jays won by two runs.-

My argument is I can't find (or have never heard) any reference to the word 'point' in baseball. Also the only way to score in baseball is to 'run' as opposed to most all other sports where points can be earned through penalty's and such things as field goals.

Omar Vizquel is the most exciting shortstop I have ever seen. Amazingly perfect glove passes! Line drives into his glove??? What glove??? He bare hands any ball in his direction!!! To Omar Vizquel the glove is a second option lmao! Oh and I dont think I will ever forget the tear A-Rod stole his golden glove imo...
