no, Kobe shows up for the playoffs

I do not think that they are alike. A-Rod isn't selfish. he gives back a lot to the community. He is a hard working self made player. No matter what he gets paid it better be higher than any other bat because he is truly the best bat in the MLB. He is a motivator.

Kobe Bryant is selfish and not considerate of his fellow team mates. He has not shown himself to be a player that motivates his team to push harder. He is not a well rounded player. Scoring machine yes and can not complain to much about defense but he has many flaws. Lebron gets criticized for his sharing of the ball. People do not see how he took an average team and motivated them to be the best they could.

That is what A-Rod does. That is what all the greatest team sport athletes have done. Kobe is wasting keeping his talent to himself and his team is showing that they need a new mentor. Maybe Derek Fisher being back will help.

Kobe and A-Rod both have greed. Kobe's greed is to win a championship. A-Rod's greed is just money and nothing else. And Kobe can share the ball. Didn't you see the last two games or a lot of games before that. Just don't read the newspaper.

Yep. Black men white men hate.
That's all I can see. I don't know much about Kobe Bryant, but Alex Rodriguez is guilty of I don't know what. Seems that the best player in the game opting out of a contract with the worst owner in the game isn't so bad. The fans booed him in ought six and now the 3 Stooges are messing with the team, after squatting on Bernie Williams. It all seems bad. So he opts out. Now he's just a greedy guy. I don't understand it. After the year he had this year people on Y/A equate him with Barry Bonds and I gotta tell you -- I just don't see the crime.

They're both greedy, both "me" people, neither understands the concept of team and they both cheat on their wives. Yeah, it's like they were separated at birth.

And, dude, that Kobe shows up in the playoffs joke was hilarious. Thanks for the laugh.

Kobe has 3 rings because of Shaq (who has a ring without Kobe). And he has a team, he just doesn't use them most of the time. If it was all about a ring, he wouldn't have run Shaq out of town. Kobe demanded he be the only superstar on the team and he got what he wanted. 60 point games, no more rings.

you can count on Kobe to produce in the playoffs. he just needs good players around him to win, and he is not greedy for money. his greed is championships.

A-Rod worships money. he does nothing in the playoffs. i am glad he is gone from here.

Kobe has 3 rings.

A-Rod has none.

I don't see any comparison at all between the two, with the possible exception that they are both the best at what they do.
