I mean do you go on google, or know the answer, i am wastign alot of points with these tricky trivia questions

It's a combination for me. If I don't know the answer, I might look it up, but I can usually narrow it down pretty good in my head.
Some of the questions I ask - like my last trivia question - would be impossible to answer without some research. People might have an idea, but I try to ask things that at least require some digging.

Well, I just answered my first one... and I knew Ronnie Belliard fit the description.
No, I didn't have to Google it -- and wouldn't anyhow. If I didn't know it, why would I answer? (I'm not a Yahoo 'points-whore' or whatever!)

If I am certian of my answer I dont look it up but if I am not sure of my answer then I will look it up just to be sure I am giving correct information

I look it up. I think once I knew the answer, and sometimes I have an idea about who it is, so it's easier to look up.
