This hasn't been a good off season for the Yanks so far. Thanks to the Steinbrener sons they ran Torre out of Ny. A-Rod showed what a classless piece of crap he is & now Pettitte didn't take his option year. Can things get any worse? Hopefully he will come back.

That was an intense monologue. I'd like to see Pettitte back with Astros because the Astros pitching staff is horrible right now, but I know that won't happen. He's feeling healthy right now and he said that he would take his other year if he was healthy enough to pitch effectively, so I'm expecting him to pitch for one more year. I hope he pitches in the series at Houston next season so I can see him one last time. I really appreciated what he did while he was here and I wish him the best of luck next season.

Well even pettitte said its either the Yankees or reitrement, he just has to decide if he wants to play again. I hope he comes back, if he does then the Yankees have a pretty solid rotation for next season. Then they just have to go out and get a new third baseman, and a coaching staff.

Ah, he's going to retire. He said that he will be a Yankee in '08 or retire. Since he opted out, I think he'll retire. We should hear his decision within 24 hours.

I hope he comes back. He's my favorite Yankee, too. I've been a Yankees fan all my life and he's a great guy. But he's going to wait and see what Jorge Posada and Mariano Rivera do. It's going to be sad if he leaves, though.

Andy Pettitte is my favorite pitcher of all time, so just imagine how I feel about this, but I expected him to opt out. Lets hope he stays true to his words, and returns only as a Yankee, because he is the best veteran pitcher on our Yankees.

Great pitcher. It'd be great to see him come back for 1 or 2 more years.
