It's a world debate, which is your favorite team? I just want a simple Red Sox or Yankees. No other teams. Tell why you like that team. Just to let you in, I'm for the Yanks.

Its really hard for me to pick a "best" player on the Red Sox, because I feel that they all work together to create an amazing team. Mike Lowell contributed so much to the Red Sox this year which is why he won MVP! The rookies Dustin Pedroia & Jacoby Ellsbury were really inspiring as well, and their fielding was top notch! Papelbon saved SO many games and his pitching was phenominal. Dice-K went strong for multiple innings, and he did a great job during the 3rd World Series game. That's why its so hard for me to pick a favorite player, ha ha=)

So on YOUR favorite baseball team, which player do YOU feel contributes the most to the team?

And who would your two backups be.

Just make sure your leftfielder played leftfield most of his career. Same goes for center and right.

Ok for the past 12 years we as Yankee fans have been used to the walk that he has to the mound. We've been fond of his crying where it seems that he can turn it on anytime he wants to. We watched his Yankees in the playoffs for every year he's managed us. He's spoiled us with 4 World Series victories. Georgie I know they haven't won one in the 21st century but I just saw a picture of Joe Torre in the Dodgers home jersey and it just doesn't feel the same. What's your thoughts.

After the Boston Red Sox won game 7 of the Alcs, their closer, John Pabelbon went onto the field infront of the fenway fans and pured beer all over the alcs trophy. if the yankees were in the same situation and A-rod did this, would it be controversal?

Can someone explain to me what it means when they say that Alex Rodriguez would hurt the chemistry of the Red Sox? What exactly are you talking about, beyond vague references to this elusive "chemistry"?

The Oakland A's of the early '70s had horrible chemistry, with a clubhouse full of guys who despised each other and management. That group won three straight World Series. The 1986 Mets had plenty of infighting, and they won. And even the vaunted late 1990s version of the Yankees had plenty of clubhouse bickering and alleged "poor chemistry," but still won year after year.

So, how will A-Rod really hurt the Sox' chemistry? By hitting too many homers? Making too many plays in the field? I think you're all crazy not to want him, and would love to see a reasoned explanation - with facts instead of conjecture - about why it would be a bad move.

Once he signs with the Sox, the Sox will have the highest payroll in baseball and can no longer pick on the Yankees for having the highest.

Where's the love for what Lowell did for that team?
