Look at the men who take viagra. If you've had a rod for longer than four hours, immediate medical attention is a requirement. Maybe the yankees feel they are in that kind of danger.

If you're 7 for 44 with 1 RBI over three post seasons, then obviously, some fans are going to boo.
Has there ever been a player in the history of baseball who wasn't booed at one time or another?
If Arod goes to say, Boston or LA or Chicago and goes 1 for 19 in the 2008 postseason and strikes out in a bunch of crucial spots, there aren't any fans in those cities who are going to boo?

True Yankee fans are relieved that ARod left. Since he just created animosity against the players. Member the feud he had with the captain.
Even though he is a good player he seems and acted as he has the Yankees and that is definitely not the case

The Yankees never ran A-Rod out of town it was A-Rod's decision to leave. The Yankees tried up to the last minute to re-negotiate the A-Rod contract but the two sides were not able to come to an agreement. No need to make more of it than it really is, and that is big business in action.

I've heard a few radio sports guys say it, and it is true.
You don't put an option to opt out of a contract into the contract unless you intend to use it.
Greed is A-Rod and Boras's driving factor. They are giving up $81 million over the next three years because they feel they can make more.
Nobody ran him out of town. He just wants to run to the next biggest bank.

A case of complacency killing the empire. You're right, of course. Alex Rodriguez might have stayed if he had fan support. It might not have bothered him that management crapped all over Bernie Williams. And it might not have persuaded him to go when management deliberately went out of its way to try to humiliate Joe Torre. But taking those two things together along with the fact that the fans didn't like him anyway, he decided to book. Heck, I'd quit my job before I worked in conditions like that.

I am not a betting man
nor am i a yankee fan
A-Rod thinks that he's the man
But yankees have a better plan
What that is nobody knows
Out with Joe (Torre) and in with Joe (Girardi)
The man hardly even belongs in the pro's
Cause he only goes where the money goes
Yankees Suck!!!
