I can't deal in rumors especially when Scott Boras is in the mix.

It's nothing but a ploy on Boras's part to try to get the Yankee's back in the bidding wars with Arod,if there is a bidding war,i have a gut feeling the offers are not flooding in after it was announced Arod want's 350mil for 10 yrs,Now i belive Boras hatched this plan, thinking the yankees would get all scared and worried that pay rod was going over to the mini evil empire, and maybe hope the yankees would be STUPID enough to bid for him! NOT GONNA HAPPEN,BYE AROD!! Enjoy Fenway!!!

This is a good possibility; many Sox fans may say that it is not but the Sox are THE biggest spenders the past few years, they would love nothing more than to win with the guuy who shunned the Yankees and they are also already lookng for suitors for Lugo. A-Rod has not lost range as others have suggested he just never fully adapted to playing 3B; some people struggle defensively in moving froma natural postion to an unnatural position, he would be great as the SS there. It is a solid fit for him and the Red Sox despite what the fans may be saying today.

From everything I'm hearing it is a good possibility.

Teams mentioned:
LA Dodgers (Good possibility, especially with Torre)
LA Angels (not serious I think, as their owner has said he wouldn't spend that much on one player)
SF Giants (GM said he would kick the tires around.. probably wouldn't happen especially after over spending on Zito)
Red Sox (They have the $$$)
One of the Chicago teams I think. If it's the Cubbies, it probably wouldn't happen because of the team going up for sale.
and.. The Marlins!!!!??? (Home town, but I honestly can't see this, though he did go to Texas)

It's unfortunate this guy has Scott Boras as his agent. He only goes there if enough money is offered. A-Rod is a business man before an athlete. They should add another wing to the Hall of Fame for businessmen and only focus on his contracts, agent, money and how many ties he has.

He is going to wind up somewhere, the Red Sox are a better choice than most others so it could happen.

First of all I would like to state that it is a rumor. I don't believe that this will happen for two reasons.
1.) The Red Sox will not fork out the kind of cash that his *** hole of an agent is looking for.
2.) The Red Sox are hell bent on Mike Lowell coming back and playing third base. Now, I know a lot of people think that they can just move a-rod over to shortstop and get rid of Lugo. This also won't happen because a-rod is not the fielder he used to be and he wouldn't be able to field at short.
Now, as for where he will wind up, I would speculate the Angels or Cubs seem to be the teams that will fork over that kind of dough.

The Red Sox fans wouldn't accept him, just because he was a Yankee and he rejected their offer a couple years ago

wherever A-Rod goes he is gonna be successful..i rather see him go to the Dodger but if he goes to the red sox's it would be payback for taking Damon...
