Why would the Mud Hens want to tarnish their reputation?

It would be great if A-Rod played a game with them for kicks. I love when stuff like this happens in baseball. Whoever from the Mudhens actually made the offer is a wit. Wouldn't it be great is during spring training or something A-Rod actually suited up. Of course, somewhere in the game he would have to be pinch hit for!!

why would he sign with the toledo mud hens, thats the tigers minor league affiliate, i think its safe to say that if he were to join the tigers organization he would be up on the big club, not in the minors

I hope not. Until now, I've always enjoyed going to Hens' games. They have been a very good team the last few seasons.

LOL, you really don't know much about baseball. That's where A Rod does belong, in the minors, but there is less then a zero chance of him going there.

Which dress would Jamie Farr wear to Opening Day if that happened?

he maybe he should so he can finally win a ring (if the minors give out rings if they win a championship)

maybe just maybe he wont choke on their minor league playoffs!
i used to like arod but now i learned hes a choke artist in the postseason ... hes not very likeable anymore (though i would like to see him break barry bonds HR record...this doesnt have an asterisk in it)

No way, they don't pay that kind of salary in the minor leagues.

It was a publicity stunt. Don't get excited.
