Mine was being at the last night game at Vets stadium. The phils lost, but it was the last game they didnt score at the vet haha. the memorable part was afterward - i will never forget this. My and several other sections were chosen to sit on the field and watch the fireworks. They were the most amazing fireworks i have ever seen, and they opened after the song "The paved Paradise" by the counting crows [http://www.lyrics007.com/Counting%20Crows%20Lyrics/They%20Paved%20Paradise%20Lyrics.html] and it was one of the best nights of my life. it also helped that afterward my family and i discovered that we had parked next to very close friends we hadn't seen in a long time. what were the chances? haha

This is pretty basic; or at least that's what I thought last night when I started to look for my answer. Not so easy. I DID post the question on the Official Chicago White Sox website's forums last night; but no word as of yet??
Anyway; what I'm trying to find out IS: What was the win/ loss record of the Chicago White Sox "Away" games at Oakland, CA against the Oakland, A's, for the 1967 Major League Baseball season. I know this might sound like a strange and insignificant fact; but, it's VERY important to ME. Can anybody remember the A's first season by the Bay?? I was at a game there that year; when I was only 6 years old; and I have a signed baseball by the winning pitcher; however, over the years it has faded and I, or anyone else can make it out anymore..And I FORGOT!! So,,, all I need is a reminder of a 1 to nothing victory over the A's by the White Sox, AND, The winning pitcher that day... As far as I know, NON divisional teams ONLY played each other 6 times a year

Lets say youre a major league player.which would u choose?

1.be on your teams roster and play 0 games out of the whole 162. Your teams makes it to the world series game 7 ,bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, down by 1 ,runner on first and the coach puts you in to pinch hit.

2.Play the regular season break all the records(i know its crazy but work with me here)but your teams doesnt even make the playoffs.

would you take your shot to win the WS? or break all the records that can be broken in a season, era,HR,slugging, stolen bases and so on.

before you jump all over me, read this. Scott Brosis was not given a chance to come back, the yanks forced him to retire, tino martinez was not brought back as the yankees wanted giambi so bad, david cone was cut loose for having a injury during his last year of his contract, bernie williams was told to come and try out for the team after 13 years as a starter, joe torre was told win or get fired and he was only given a token offer after 12 years, jope girardi was told to train posada for his job as starting catcher and then he was given the boot, all of these people were key, repeat key members of the team and all got the yankee shaft, i love the yanks, but hate the way they treat people sometimes, i really dont know why anyone would want to be on the team.
