Lidge has had problems the past few years and K-Rod is clearly the better of the two at this time.

I firmly believe that both have almost the exact same "stuff" ... both have a killer slider, and both have a lights out fastball... the problem with lidge was that once guys started to hit him, he faired back to his fastball in an attempt to blow guys away, instead of going with his nasty slider... and in the majors, anybody can hit a straight fastball... k rod has almost the exact same repertoire however he knows how to "pitch" , he can use his stuff effectively, and when he gets hit, hes not afraid to go back to his slider when hes down in the count or with runners on base... based on their resumes and current stats, i gotta give the edge to k rod, but if i'm basing this on the stuff these guys possess, its even.... i think lidge will resurrect his career in philly.. both are primed for good years.. hope this helps!

because Brad Lidge's
reputation has dimmed after giving up the winning home run to albert pujols in the 2004 national league championship series
so i would say k rod!
