I am currently in 9th grade and have been playing ball since I was 5 yrs old. I have been a catcher for the last 5 yrs. I am 5'10 and about 180 lbs. My strong point has always been hitting. My weak point is my running, but I think that comes with being a catcher. I have average arm strength, but my throwdowns to 2nd are fairly accurate. HELP???

1. Have you ever been annoyed by your own teams fans?

I am getting annoyed by the fans of my favorite team...the yankees NOT the fans like yankee fan for life, but the fans who say we win the world series every year, no matter what happens!

2. Do you often give best answer to either your fan, or a fan of your team?

I find myself often giving best answer to my fans, do you do that?

......at 90 million for 5 years; does this signal that baseball salaries are spiraling out of control? Or are the Angels the new Yankees? Remember, this is the team that left everyone scratching their heads when they Gave Matthews Jr. a 5 year, 50 million deal (they also look like they're going to get Cabrera; I imagine they're gonna try to sew him up with a long term, big bucks deal).

I say Cashman from the Yankees is, signing long term contract w\ Rivera and Posada and no pitching (which is their problem) is just bad. The SF Giants GM is pretty awful too...

I think that in order to restore the baseball section to respectability we ALL need to put Diva J (and diva J, same person 2 accounts. One is "D"iva and the is "d"iva) on our blocked list and dont even answer her question. I believe she comes here just to grab attention and make a mess.
If we ALL band together and ignore her she just might go away.
She has 2 accounts with the same name. One is CAPTAIL D and the other isn't. Block both of them.

What do you think we should do?

Lately there have been an increased amount of bandwagoners, spammers, and illeterate little girls.

I love baseball and I came to this section to talk about it! Shouldn't we be posting polite questions about baseball players or off season trades? Why are there questions bashing other baseball teams or players? If we're that bored, its time to break out the board games!

I hate to see this section unraveling so fast. If it were up to you, what you would do to improve this baseball section?
