not up grade or down grade what do you think?

I live in Milwaukee.
First off, although yahoo lists munson as the starter, kendall will start. I think it is the best we can do right now, because estrada was not that great. although he is better than kendall, the brewer claim he had attitude and work ethic issues with the pitching coach mike maddux. kendall did not impress me last year, but he has had some good years, and maybe he can pull another one out. but by any means, estrada was not very good last year, so this is deffinatly not a down grade.

Whether of not it's a good or bad move depends on what the Brewer's reasons were for acquiring him. From a defensive and hitting standpoint I think it's a platoon move since Kendall has lost a bit over the past few seasons.

However, if they did this as a leadership move, it could prove to be very positive.

Bad Move! Kendall is a waste, Brewers would of been better bringing up anyone from the farm. Why Kendall does not hit or throw out baserunners. He does not even call a good game. He has been washed up the last 4 years..

Right now, yhoo lists Munson as their starting catcher. Kendall improved with the Cubs compared to his slump with Oakland. And, maybe he'll be invigorated (invigorated?) by being in the NL on a decent team with a good pitching staff. This ought to be a good move.

He is a singles hitter who can provide great guidance for younger catchers. He is not an everyday starter and is a serious downgrade if expected to play everyday and somehow provide even minimal punch in the lineup.

He's definitely past his prime. I don't know enough about the Brewers to say he's a downgrade, but their chances for success doesn't get better because the've got him.

He is not a starting catcher but more of a backup so it's a down grade.

Horrible...the guy can't play any more....he may fool some with a decent average...but a player who has no power and doesn't walk isn't helping even if he hits .290...and he ain't hitting .290 anymore.....throw in the fact he can't play the position anymore...basically, the more they play him, they worse they'll be...
