Do you want a proven AL hitter or a guy who can cover the whole Yankees outfield gaps

It depends on what you want more. Andruw Jones had a very "off" year but the past 5 years has been All Star caliber play.
But if you want a very good fielder you can hit for some power and like you said can cover the whole outfield than Torri Hunter is the way to go.
My opinion is Andruw Jones, but I like a guy who can hit the ball hard and is big in clutch situations.

Torri b/c hes a proven hitter and a better outfielder than Andruw. Plus Andruw strikes out 3 times a game.

i would rather have Torii Hunter because he can cover the whole Yankees outfield gaps and is a proven AL hitter.

Jones hits for more power, Hunter is a better hitter and they are both good defensively, I would go with Hunter.
