Mine was being at the last night game at Vets stadium. The phils lost, but it was the last game they didnt score at the vet haha. the memorable part was afterward - i will never forget this. My and several other sections were chosen to sit on the field and watch the fireworks. They were the most amazing fireworks i have ever seen, and they opened after the song "The paved Paradise" by the counting crows [http://www.lyrics007.com/Counting%20Crows%20Lyrics/They%20Paved%20Paradise%20Lyrics.html] and it was one of the best nights of my life. it also helped that afterward my family and i discovered that we had parked next to very close friends we hadn't seen in a long time. what were the chances? haha

The last game of this season - my kids came back from college to see it - we tailgated and celebrated with every inning the Mets were losing - and really partied when the Phils won. It was great!
Before that - watching Schmidt and the Bull hit in Vets Stadium in seats my dad got - box along the field at 1st base. Best seats ever. . .

As a youngster my most treasured memory was witnessing the entire 1961 baseball season. I probably went to Yankee Stadium 20 times that season. It was the season of maybe the greatest Yankee team of all time. It was also about the home run race between Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris. Both were challenging Babe Ruth's single season home run record. Just watching this incredible team was spell binding. Winning 109 games and blowing out the Reds in the world series. Maris broke Ruth's record while Mantle ended up with 54 home runs.

However the single great thrill I've ever experienced as a fan was being present at game 6 of the 1980 world series. I stood in the upper deck (600 level) in left field at the Vet with my oldest son as we watched the "Figthin's" beat the Royals to win their only world championship. By far my most treasured memory.

I would have to say Steve Finley's grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Dodgers a 7-3 win over the Giants. The four straight home runs against the Padres is a close second, but when Finley hit that grand salami in '04, it was just so awesome. It finally clinched a playoff spot for us, and eliminated the Giants' postseason chances, while giving us a dramatic victory.

Too many to mention. World Championships. Working at the stadium for 9 season, winning many awards and being honored on the field. Taking my son from Cincinnati back home to see and be on the Busch Stadium field, watch him run the bases & meet Fredbird.

I'm a Dodger fan so I would have to say my most treasured memory would have to be when the Dodgers hit four consecutive homeruns against the Padres. They were losing 9 to 5 in the bottom of the ninth inning. Those four homeruns hit against Trevor Hoffman tied the game and sent them into extra innings. In the 10th inning Nomar Garciaparra ended it with a walk off homerun. I will never forget this game.

Well one that comes to mind was when 2b Alex Cora of the Dodgers fouled of 17 straight pitches and on The 18th pitch of that at bat he whacked a Home Run. Also when Steve Finley hit a game ending 3 run HR to get the Dodgers into the postseason by beating the Giants.
