so guys only 122 more days!! just wondering when are the other times that opening day has been in march (this year it is March 31)

wow thats so exciting!!!! see how much we phillies fans have to talk about now, just wait until the season starts up again! the baseball section will finally be productive again. and i will finally be able to see my beloved phils again!
i don't know of another time it was in march, for the phillies at least, thats so early. i hope it doesn't snow. lol =)

Oakland and Boston have 2 games in Japan on March 25 & 26 and ESPN has their Sunday night game on the 30th.
It's started in March a couple of times. The calendar was similar with Monday falling before April 1, but not often.

Pretty much every year the have the opening game on March 31st. Usually on ESPN and a lot of the times its either the Mets or Cardinals playing.

dont remember! I think the last couple of yrs in Houston opening day has been April 5th. I think it is also Brandon Backe birthday. Now if he can just come "Backe" to pitch.
(he just had Tommy John surgery)
