Lets say youre a major league player.which would u choose?
1.be on your teams roster and play 0 games out of the whole 162. Your teams makes it to the world series game 7 ,bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, down by 1 ,runner on first and the coach puts you in to pinch hit.
2.Play the regular season break all the records(i know its crazy but work with me here)but your teams doesnt even make the playoffs.
would you take your shot to win the WS? or break all the records that can be broken in a season, era,HR,slugging, stolen bases and so on.

I would denfily want to play and hopefully not miss any games. As far as breaking any recordes, I don't knwo about that. Besides you are getting paid for playing the sport, and not just sitting on the bench. But it wouldn't hurt to get some hits, home runs etc to help my team win the game, iti s always great when you do whe, and not so great when you lose games. Not that I would lose sleep over it.

I would choose to pinch hit in the world series because baseball is a team game. If I wanted to play an individual sport I would pole vault, bowl or play tennis. What's the old saying? "Those that sit and wait also serve."

Realistically, if you never play in the regular season, you'll probably be left off the post-season roster and not get the chance to pinch-hit in the World Series.

definatley the second one .
even if the team doesn't amke it to the world series you're definately getting looked at, and if you're breaking all these records you will be worthmore money .
then you can be traded to a team like the yanks or red sox , and eventually you will et your shot in the world series.
the firsst option, aboutthe world series. what is you mess up ? and the fans probably will be mad at you even though it wasnt your decision to go in. They will be mad that their favorite, or a more popular player didnt go in.
and if the team did winnt eh world series its not as uch of a joyy if you didnt really play . so that i why i would definately, w/o a doubt choos ethe second option! hope that helps you :]

I would choose the regular season. If you are the final batter in the world series, you have no experience all season and would be extremely rusty and most likely embaress yourself. If you play the full season, you have a chance in getting into the Hall of Fame.

I would choose the regular season, hands down. While a world series victory like tat will be remembered for a while, then fade, the record book will always have your name in them, and to me, thats much more valuable
