I think it's horrible. I "met" Joe at an A's game. He was one of two players to stop and sign for me and a friend. He seemed like a pleasant guy, who although wasn't a Johan Santana or CC Sabathia, played hard and was a valuable teammate. I think all of baseball is shocked to hear of his sudden and tragic death, and during the Holiday season no less. A lot of people have been assholes about his death, saying he took steroids or some other drugs, but the truth is, people can die fo reasons that have nothing to do with drugs. And to say that, knowing that he left behind a wife and a child (who will no doubt have no memories of his father), it's just wrong. My condolences go out to his friends and family.

I was totally puzzled (and of course completely shocked) when I read about his death. It may have been an OD or something like that, but I really have no clue. I'll be praying for his family.
Edit: Diva J is possibly the most disrespectful user on Y!A.

Evne through he played for 7 years, I have never heard of him until his death yesterday. So I have to issue a rest in peace to Joe Kenndy, even through he won't see this message. You died why to soon, and what is even worse, he has a 1 year old son, that will have no memories of his dad, and barely got to know him.

Yeah. It is kind of like that Smith curse. Them Smiths seem to be in the obituaries far too often for it to be anything less than a curse.
