They signed Torre as manager.
But in terms of players they are being patient and smart about this year, unlike last year when they rushed and gave Pierre a 5 year 44 million dollar contract. As of right now they need a 3rd baseman and 2nd baseman there is not much of that out there.

Give them time. I know they are looking for a CF and may try to sign Andruw Jones.

The "off season" runs till MARCH----they have plenty of time---besides, they already DID sign two YANKEE GREATS---Torre and Mattingly... as a die-hard Yankee fan, I will definitely miss those two....

we are in negotiations for Cabrera (I hope), I sure hope they dont get Andrew Jones though, he is not worth it with all those K's he gets every year
