This is pretty basic; or at least that's what I thought last night when I started to look for my answer. Not so easy. I DID post the question on the Official Chicago White Sox website's forums last night; but no word as of yet??
Anyway; what I'm trying to find out IS: What was the win/ loss record of the Chicago White Sox "Away" games at Oakland, CA against the Oakland, A's, for the 1967 Major League Baseball season. I know this might sound like a strange and insignificant fact; but, it's VERY important to ME. Can anybody remember the A's first season by the Bay?? I was at a game there that year; when I was only 6 years old; and I have a signed baseball by the winning pitcher; however, over the years it has faded and I, or anyone else can make it out anymore..And I FORGOT!! So,,, all I need is a reminder of a 1 to nothing victory over the A's by the White Sox, AND, The winning pitcher that day... As far as I know, NON divisional teams ONLY played each other 6 times a year

The Athletics moved to Oakland in 1968, and divisional play began in 1969.

The White Sox went 10-8 against the A's in 1968, going 5-4 at home and on the road. Here's a complete list of their 1968 season series: http://www.baseball-reference.com/games/head2head-games.cgi?team1=OAK&team2=CHW&from=1968&to=1968

Winning pitchers for the Oakland games:
5/9 Peters (CWS)
5/10 Locker (CWS)
5/11 Horlen (CWS)
5/12 Pierce (OAK)
7/29 Wood (CWS) -- second-best name on this list
7/30 Dobson (OAK)
9/23 Nash (OAK)
9/24 Wilhelm (CWS) -- HOFer
9/25 Segui (OAK)

There were three 1-0 games in this season series:
White Sox 1 - @Athletics 0, 12-May
@White Sox 1 - Athletics 0, 17-May
Athletics 1 - @White Sox 0, 24-July
(There are clickable box scores available through the link above.)

So if the game was definitely 1-0 and in Oakland, the 12-May game must be it. (Look, you were six, human memory is notoriously fallible, and no one game fits your description of year, site, score, and winning team. But this should point you in the right direction of nailing down your game and the pitcher on your ball. Rummage around a bit on BaseballReference.com, even if you don't find what you're looking for you'll have a lot of fun.)

Looking to the 1969 CWS-OAK series, there was one 1-0 game, 27-June at Oakland, A's winning, Blue Moon Odom getting the W.

ok the 1967 record was 4-5 and the pitcher may be Gary Peters but the first season in Oakland was in 1968 in which there record is 5-4 and then the pitcher would be Joe Horlen
hope that helps

They were the Kansas City A's and no games were played at Oakland. 1968 was their 1st year in Oakland. The White Sox went 5-3 vs the A's in 1968.
