Billy Hamilton is credited with 111 stolen bases in what would be his rookie season under today's regulations, in 1889 for the Kansas City Cowboys of the American Association. He did play in 1888, only 35 games, swiping 19 bases.

Vince Coleman didn't have a cuppa-coffee season, hit the diamond literally running, racking up 110 SB in his 1985 debut with the NL champion St. Louis Cardinals.

Hamilton
post-rookie season high: 111 again (1891)
career: 912
rank: 3rd through 2007

Coleman
post-rookie season high: 109 (1987)
career: 752
rank: 6th through 2007

Neither is at imminent risk of being pushed down the career list.
