I know that you can leave the game as a pitcher and come back as long as you stay in the field but.......... Say you leave the game in the 6th with a 3-0 lead and you go to centerfield and come back in the 9th with a 3-2 lead and get everyone out. Do you get the save and the win?

all this talk about the yankees being finished this year, i think is total bull-s***!! this is why: our next 7 series are against TOR, TB, KC, BAL, CWS, KC, and TOR!! so our next 23 games are against sub-.500 teams!!! so for all you doubters out there: WE DEFINATELY ARE NOTTT OUT OF IT!!! tell me what you all think of this! thanks.

I'm going to a ball game on Wednesday Night (07/18/07) and I'm SOO nervous, because we are from Nova Scotia Canada and driving a rental car. My biggest concern is not finding parking I have a list of parking spots, but do you think my car will get broken into? What should I do? I was thinking about trying to find a storage spot for my suitcase because the way my trip is planned we will have to be out of our hotel and have our bags with us. I do not feel comfortable leaving my stuff in the car. I'm scared. Do you think if I left my suitcase in there it will get stolen?

the umpiring in the majors sems to be, to me, like their gods and all must follow, yet they make bad calls all the time, who is in charge anyway, who do the umpires report to or who is in charge of their actions, their bad calls change the whole game, most every game i watch anyway, and why do home plate umpires have such different strike zones, that even the play by play announcers don,t understand them. who allows these type of actions that the umpires are alloud to use. it inferiorates me to no end what they do some times. do they have no one to acount to--- gary c

A couple of days ago, Sheffield randomly talked about the fact that Torre treated him very poorly because he is black and that he wasn't embraced as a Yankee. He said that the Yankees showed no class towards him, and also thinks that it doesn't count that Jeter is embraced because he is only half black. I really hope this is a misunderstanding because Torre seems to be a great guy who doesn't see race in his players. Sheffield does tend to take things personally, so that might be the case. I think Sheffield needs to clean up his act as a player, he looks like a circus act. Instead of actually talking to people that he has problems with, he talks to the media like a clown and doesn't have the guts to actually act like a man and confront a person. What do you guys think?

Reaching 300 wins means 15 years of averaging 20 wins a season or 20 years of averaging 15 wins a season. Every year it seems like there are fewer and fewer truly dominating pitchers. With the way the game is played today, do you think it's even possible for a young pitcher to approach 300 career wins? I'm looking at the list of active leaders and I don't see a single pitcher with at least 150 wins that is young enough to have a realistic chance.

Baseball is the only sport that I can think of that does this. You do not see it in the NHL, NFL or NBA thank god. The thought of Phil Jackson in NBA attire is scary.

if clemens and wang continue their efforts, and matsui, abreu will be consistent, you think they have a shot at making the wild card, possibly the division?

i personally think they will make the divsion especially couple of red sox players are starting to get injuries-(papi, drew, schilling, donnelly, soon to be named)

After losing Alex Rodriguez to the Yankees in 2004, the Red Sox apparently haven't stopped thinking about how the star would look in a Boston uniform.

Three years after a proposed trade fell through, Red Sox president Larry Lucchino still has the drive to bring A-Rod to Boston, possibly making him teammates with David Ortiz.

Is this a good thing?

Do high priced ball-players stretch the boss's payroll and weaken or strengthen a baseball team.
