This is a tough question. Wright has the better power numbers. Reyes leads the league in steals. They both hit for a pretty good average. I would go slightly with Reyes because it seems like the Mets offense either goes good or bad depending on how Reyes is going.

David Wright and Jose Reyes are both very good players, and will be for years to come.

Reyes is faster and the perfect lead off mean. He'll get on base, and just make things happen. He can hit for a high average, and is learning to be more patient at the plate so he can draw more walks/get better pitches to hit.

Wright is a better power hitter and drives in runs. He can hit from .280 to .300, which is a good average for a power hitter. When the situation calls for it, he can steal a base (20 SBs, and only caught 1). He can make a great diving play, but his throwing can be erratic. He also strikes out way too much.

Jose Reyes is better David Wright cuz Reyes can hit, run ,steal ,and is more athletic, than David Wright.

I would say David Wright. I've heard more of him on ESPN and Sportscenter lately than I have Jose Reyes. He just seems like an all-around better player.

What the heck does everyone see in David Wright? He pretty much sucks, and when he's cold, he's ICE cold. Reyes is all-around better at everything than Wright.

Jose Reyes, hes a future Derek Jeter.

He has more runs then Wright, has more stolen bases, has a higher batting average, and has more runs scored.

Jose Reyes is the better of the two. He's got speed and he'll score more runs and you're more likely to win more.

Reyes - .305 Avg, 5HR, 36RBI, 63Runs, and 46SB. Only 48 K for being AB 370 times.

Wright - .295 Avg, 16HR, 51RBI, 51Runs, and 20SB. Only 77K for being AB 342 time.

So If you need a SS go with Reyes, if you need a 3B go with Wright, if you just want one, I'd go with Reyes, he had been playing better in the last few games... Hope that helps!
