I like buying online. YOu can select the area in which you wish to sit. After the tickets are reserved for you (and they are usually the best available seats in the price range you selected) you can (on most teams sites) see what the view would be for the area you'd be sitting. If you don't like a section you can release the tickets and try again, and you are doing it on your own time and not dealing with someone on the phone.
I just like it better. I can see what I am getting while I am shopping. And sometimes you can get special discounts for purchasing online.

You can usually find some good deals on ebay as well. Just check feedback and make sure it is a trusted seller.
