Ok so im a redsox fan a legit one and ive been hearing on weei the red sox radio that The red sox organization will be heavily trying to get arod this off season. If this happens i dont know what i will do with myself after these years of giving him soo much crap. I would not cheer him on unless he kills the yankees. What do you redsox fans think.

i have been playing baseball for 9 years my main positions are second base and center field even though i am not fast at all. but for some reason i have always had this urge to play catcher my coach played me as catcher in 2 games thats it. can you give me advice on how i should get better?

and also can you give me advice on how to ask my coach to play catcher in a game? i dont know why but i always feel weird when i ask people things

a while ago, a kid in some Long Island town was hit by a metal bat in a game and Died(i think). Now the family of said child are trying to get aluminum bats banned from little leagues every where. Is this Fair?????? be specific

(1) Astrodome- It was a marvel when I was younger and I thought the world of it. Too bad the roof had leaks in it and you would get wet in certain sections.
(2) Minute Maid Park(my home field per se)-I love this stadium. It's got a great view, the place is very inviting and it won my heart over rather quickly. I was not very happy with the move to Minute Maid from the Dome at first but it's definetly better. You have to love a retractable roof.
(3) BallPark in Arlington- This is a pretty interesting park. They let you bring your own food in, including coolers with food and drinks in them. It's a beautiful ballpark with a nice upper terrace. The sun is daunting in the heat of the day but if you sit under the top tier, you are just fine. It's the most fan-friendly park I have been to/heard of.

Just wondering, because Im going to 6 weeks of hockey camp, but 1 of the weeks also has soccer and baseball training, and i dont play those 2 sports at all nor do i pay attention to them. Its not like Im actually taking it seriousley with soccer and baseball, its just for one week of camp .

and what year was it that you REALLY grasped what the game was all about?
What was it about your team and that season that did it for you?

I was 5 and 6 when the Cards played the WS (67-68), I loved BB but I dont think it was until '69 when I really got it, although memory is a bit fuzzy. I think I went to a lot more games in 1969 than before.

why is there sop much hype about the red soxs im mean come on they have never been good in the second half of the season. A-rod is the ML leader in HR's ,and RBI's,and who cares if giambi is not not in the lineup we have better players than him.

the red sox havent been a second half team only manny and big papi. Also the yankees have been in the playoffs for 12 straight years! what makes you think that they wont be in there this year?
