Not really a question - just congratulating the Phillies on becoming the losingest team in any sport at any level. Truly a magnificent achievement - it takes maximum effort and dedication to lose this often. We shall not see their like again.

I have heard the story once, but can not recall it.

When MLB split the two leagues into two divisions each in 1969, the Cubs and Cardinals went to the NL East. The Reds and Braves, both further east on the map, went to the NL West.

I had heard the Cubs and Cards wanted to play more games in the Eastern Time Zone and their clout won out. Is this accurate?

I was watching a TV program and they had this debate and they came to the result of Barry Bonds and Dodger fans (even though he is pretty much hated everywhere). Are there any other players that you think could fit that role? (Maybe A-Rod Red Sox)

I'm speaking of MLB teams. I want to know if there is a website out there that has CAREER team vs. team records. Mets vs. Braves - Giants vs. Yankees you get the idea.

AL:
Red Sox/Yankees

NL: Dodgers/Giants

Interleague: White Sox/ Cubs

I don't think anything else even comes close to any of those. Maybe Dodgers/Angels for interleague or Mets/Yankees but other then that I think that those are the right choices.

Do you think Barry Bonds' roid-supported body is breaking down because he stopped taking roids so he could be clean when he broke the career home run record?

Granted yes, he had an ok game as a starter against the Giants yesterday, but honestly he is a terrible pitcher. The week before the All-Star game, he blew two games that had gone into extra innings (Padres in the 12th, Marlins in the 10th) and when he faced the Braves on the 4th of July, with the Dodgers only down 2-1 in the sixth inning I believe, he gave up 2 runs to make the Braves lead 4-1 and put the game out of reach. I think he deserves to board the next plane to Las Vegas and play in the minors till he gets his stuff together. What do you all think?
