I don't think so. I believe A-Rod would really like to work out a new ten year deal with the Yankees. He will get a lot of fan support as he tries to bring the all-time homerun record back to New York. He doesn't want to be running around looking for a new team while he is in the chase. What better place for him than New York during the next ten years.

If we've learned anything from the past decade, it's that Yankees owner George Steinbrenner will always go after the all-star free agents. In 2008, it just so happens that all-star free agent might be A-Rod. There's no way George lets his team's best player in the prime of his career just walk away, especially when he could end up on the Red Sox or Angels. A-Rod will stay in New York, for 30- 40 million a year.

threes only 3 teams that can afford a-rod but come on now people are making this in to a big thing he has 15 days after the world series to signed the contract possibly for 8 years 240 million dollars so the Yankees have 3 players that are going to be free agents Jorge Posada Mariano Rivera and Alex Rodriguez so that's going to be a lot of money and may be five to eight years from now Alex Rodriguez could beat hank Aron`s or Barry bonds record it`s all possible people just like to jump to conclusions give some time

Not really sure i mean that the Yankees like him and would lose a lot of talent so i think they might keep him if there willing to pay him if not he will be on any team that offers the most
