I was watching a TV program and they had this debate and they came to the result of Barry Bonds and Dodger fans (even though he is pretty much hated everywhere). Are there any other players that you think could fit that role? (Maybe A-Rod Red Sox)

Well i would say A-rod against the redsox, but hey the redsox hate anybody that is wearing a yankee uniform. If Boston had gotten A-rod they would love him right now.

Honestly it is Bonds. Nobody wants him to break this record cause everybody thinks he is using steroids. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Come on now, there is no proof that he has ever once done it.

Since he is probably gonna break this record this year (Not going 1 - 21) he has to do it at home. If he breaks it on the road everybody will BOO him out of the stadium. He is the most hated player, and yet the most loved in SF. Bonds doesn't get cheers anywhere he goes, and that's it.

Without a doubt, the most hated by opposing fans is (no suprise!) Barry Bonds. Gary Sheffield is second and then probably any of the New York Mets, including Tom "Judas Iscariot looking for 30 pieces of silver" Glavine.

Jeff Kent gets booed every at bat in San Fran, even though he hasn't played for the Giants in a few years.

Arod / Jeter get booed hard in Boston. But what yankee players don't get booed in Boston...

But Barry Bonds has to be the leader among the MLB teams' fans who boo him everywhere he goes...even though they can't wait to see him hit a homerun.

No one likes Bonds unless ur a Giants fan. end of story. the red sox probably hate Damon, Jeter and Arod. i know the Marlins refuse to give D-train to the Mets, but i don't know if they hate any players.

I think Curt Schilling of the Red Sox fits the criteria. As a matter of fact, 2 years ago, he made the top 25 most hated sportsfigure of all time, and good old Curt finished FIRST. I never saw a guy who TRULY believed that people are just waiting to hear his opinion about ANY subject. Curt never met a microphone he never loved.

Jose Mesa in Cleveland, followed by Jim Thome and Manny Ramirez. Albert Belle would still be on the list if he weren't retired but he ended up in an Arizona jail so he has enough problems.

John Lackey gets booed at San Francisco lol

did you see the all star game he got the biggest boos there when he was introduced

Giants fans still haven't forgotten what Lackey did in the world series...he was the rookie that won game 7 for the angels against the giants

People love to hate Arod. When I went to a game in seattle people cheered louder for Arods third strikeout than Betres walkoff. Sheffield is not doing a good job of making friends though.

Yup, I was going to automatically say ARod and the Red Sox (or a whole lot of other teams actually! LOL)
