Barry Bonds, as a rookie, had a terrible attitude and was very arrogant. Because of that, I didn't care for him. Now that he has matured somewhat, he is --usually-- nicer to the media.
In testimony under oath, he did admit to using products that contained steroids. He said they were given to him by the team's trainer. Barry claims he did not know they had steroids. The matter is still being investigated so we have not heard the end of it. There is physical evidence to suggest he is (or was) using something.
He was talented but it never translated into winning on the field. After all these years he still has not won a World Series and in fact, he chokes in the post-season... a .245 batting average, for example. A Champion should be able to perform under pressure.
I still don't like him.

If he wasn't such an @$$ to the media during interviews / press conferences, I wouldn't mind him as much.
But the numbers don't lie. He'll soon be the HR king, and the media and Bonds-haters will have to deal with it. But not for more than 5 years, because at this pace A-Rod will pass him by then.
I never really had the chance to watch him play (being from Boston, and the Red Sox never playing the Giants / Pirates), but it's hard not to see the respect he gets from the team's he plays against.

I like bonds as well. He's mlb scape goat at this point. Witch sucks, cause he's basically recieving all the **** for steroids when i think at least 60% of players in the mlb were on steroids in the 90's. Its too bad cause him, and sosa, are basically all thats left from the stroid days. And sosa don't get nearly as much shi t as bonds and the reason for this is cause sosa isn't stuck in the middle of breaking aarons record. I hope he breaks that record soon so then maybe we can stop talking about this.

There will forever be an asterisk by Bond's name if he breaks the record. He could do a lot more for the sport, earn a lot more respect if he stopped one shy of tying the record. Aaron did not use steroids when he set the record way back when. Bonds should respect that.

Without steroids he's just a second rate n*gnog, no better than McGuire, another loser who should be struck from the record books.

I like him, i dont care what people say about roids... Do you know why? Because they actully ruin your hand-eye cordination soo if he were to be on such "roids" he wouldnt have hit all those homeruns.. He is the greatest that most of us have seen and will see for such a long time... Like him or not you need to admit hes is good.

He's okay but on the way out of his career. Once the record is surpassed, I believe he will definitely go to the AL to DH.
I don't care about the stuff going on with the drugs. It's his own body and is getting hurt, not us.

He may have used steroids, there is no evidence, but there is physical proof, still believe he is legit.
I hope he gets back on track and breaks the homerun record, because after all this crap he is taking about breaking the record, i wan him to break it to shut these ppl up.
