...to finally accept the painful fact that Armless Joe now surpasses The Nolte when it comes to devastatingly good looks and irresistible charm?

*sigh* It's just a matter of time before every single member of my harem leaves me for this rugged, handsome, hunk of masculinity.

I have been really thinking about all that I have been reading in the bible and I can't seem to understand why would God would allow us innocent people to be born with sin because Adam and Eve sinned. I didn' eat the forbidden fruit. I have two children and when one does something wrong and the other hasn't I don't punish them both. That would be wrong and unfair.

And why does God need to prove his sovereignty to Satan. God is the Almighty why should he care what Satan thinks? I would have destroyed Satan, Adam and Eve then started over and would have re-created man until I got it right. I just don't know about this world, the bible, or religion. What is the point :-(

Paul writes "masters, be good to your slaves", and the bible talks about slavery a lot, but never condemns the practice and never says that god condemns it. now that is what you would expect from a book written 2000+ years ago by mere people...but not from a book truly inspired by god...

so which is it? is the bible not the inspired word of god, or does god not object to people owning other people?

About a week ago, I asked a question, which was deleted. So before anyone decides to click that button, this IS a question, I am NOT attacking anyone, and I really DO want an answer.
The question is this:
Why do some Muslim apologetics try to use the Bible to validate Muhammed's prophet status, and yet consider the Bible to be corrupted? How can a "corrupted" book validate Islam's prophet?
I'm just trying to understand you guys. Can you help me out?

Atheists bristle when we question their morality (notwithstanding that the most brutal mass murders in history were committed in the twentieth century by Communist regimes that rejected God as the "opiate of the people").

Here's a test case: As an atheist, can you defend the right of prenatal children to live, and would you restrict sex to marriage? In other words, does your humanist morality actually make any demands for self-sacrifice?

If so, why would you make these or any tough moral choices in a world you believe to be an existential accident?

Sometimes I just feel overwhelmed with love for the beauty of Divine Truths that God has let distill on our souls. What a joy it is to know we are all children of God, with divine natures!

How blessed is God, who shares Light so abundantly with us all, speaking to our hearts and minds, in a "still small voice" that brings the greatest of joys!

Do you feel it? How does the "God feeling" feel for you? How do you describe that feeling... Using words from your own religion, so we can see how different people describe the same thing.

((((((((LOVE)))))))))

Please do not judge me or try to call me apostate. I am a sincere Christians with questions.

I would first like to let you know I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY and so this is why I am asking.

Acts 10:25, 26 says "25 As Peter entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet and did obeisance to him. 26 But Peter lifted him up, saying: “Rise; I myself am also a man.”

Okay, Now the Watchtower seems to make a distinction between "doing obeisance" and "worship". In order to prove Jesus was not worshipped. But if there really is a difference, and Obesience is NOT the same as worship....

Why did Peter tell the man to get up....After all he wasn't worshipping him.

I really don't see a difference between obeisance and worship.
