I think I was in preschool. It was when they were trying to teach me the pledge of allegiance. After asking who or what god was and I learned a bit more of the concept, I realized that it was imaginary dictator that needs our obedience cause he can control everything but our minds!!! FREE YOUR MIND NEO !!!

I remember my grandfather all decked out in the Orthodox Jewish garb for prayer. I also remember him being open minded enough to tell me to explore on my own with respect to faith and belief...What I find will amaze and astonish me...Interesting coming from a Rabbi...but it's his teaching that I adhere to this day as a proud and practicing Unitarian Universalist. I was indoctrinated into religion at too young an age to remember. It wasn't until late high school / early college that I started looking at the basis of belief.

I was indoctrinated starting as a very young child. As early as I can remember, I prayed to the christian god every night with my mother.

Undoubtedly sometime before my first memory. My grandparents are fundamentalist Christians.
