I agee with most of the posts, as a Chistian, i aploigize for the "christians" that dont follow at least most of the word of God. We are not perfect, we make mistakes, but for the most part we should at least strive to live a life following after Christs teaching and his lifestyle. Christian means Christ follower.
We will never be perfect until we get to heaven.

No. However, we do expect that if you are going to push some of your doctrine in our faces, that you at least make an effort to follow it yourself. All too often, however, that doesn't happen. So, christians start to look like a lot of hypocrites who just want to push their beliefs on others but have no problem with breaking themselves.

If you simply kept your religion to yourselves, we would not get this impression of you. But, all too often, christians are the ones demanding that EVERYONE live by their rules.

Peace,
Jenn

I think even we Christians expect others to be perfect. But in reality, even the best of Christians have their bad days.

If we were perfect, they'd have another excuse.

Jesus' grave is still there, open for all to see! If that doesn't conveince them, our perfect behaviour will not either.

Even without a bible, any one with a brain can see that there is a God. How else would the universe come into existence when scientists say it did?

Nothing could not turn into everything by itself, without God. To believe that is a crazy religion of its own!!! That is their religion, and they have loads of false "faith" in it.

What does doubting God do for them? It allows their sinning in private, against the commandments, unseen by ANY witness (even Him) so that no one might ever judge them.

You lost me with the "uncirculated". i assume customarily the belief is that in case you will label something incorrect and harass people for no longer thinking it is so themselves yet do it your self to boot you're certainly a hypocrit or phony.

There is no such thing as perfection. I expect Christians -- and everyone else -- to practice what they preach, so to speak.

No not at all..We just expect you to at least practice what your preaching to us..So if perfect means following the bible word for word, well then I guess yes you better do it..

Not perfect, but pretty good at practicing what you preach ... and you should live up to the same moral standards that you hold other people to.

Gen 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

No we don't expect perfection...we expect realism...If you make a serious error/mistake as you put it previously...you'll pay for it with going to Hell...There won't be any salvation regardless of penance and you can't be forgiven. Simple as that...you still don't see the hypocrisy in your theological model do you? PEACE!
