If one were looking at it only from the human side only ,which we are prone to do your conclusions are quite normal.
And jumping to your next point of God not having to prove his sovereignty to Satan ALONE is true ,however Satan did raise an issue that goes beyond us us humans and our timing of things. In this timing that the angels are accustomed to the challenge of worship by humans was issued .Many examples in the Bible I'm sure you are familiar with including the one several thousand years later by Satan to Jesus -Matt 4:1-11 - For serious accurate answers check here -(www.watchtower.org)

(1) We are all accountable for our own choices, not for Adam's transgression.
Original sin is a concept made up by uninspired interpretation of the Bible, a long time after Jesus and the Apostles (who had the powers of prophecy) had all died.
(2) Children are all saved in God's kingdom automatically, they are not "born in sin". They are born innocent. Hence why Jesus tells us to become as little children...
(3) This life (and human nature) is exactly the way God intended. Adam and Eve made a choice... God warned them of the consequences of partaking of the forbidden fruit. He said, if they ate, they would surely die (ie become mortal). He also commanded them to multiply and replenish the earth... but they could not do this until they had obtained mortal bodies. That is, he had given two commandments in opposition to each other... they had to make their own choice, with consequences to follow.
That's what this life is all about. Us being able to make choices. God needs to prove nothing... It is us who needs to prove what it is that our souls most desire. Hence why God did not destroy Satan. To do so would be to take away our choice.
The Fall of Adam was all part of God's Plan. God's Plan is progressing as he always intended. Jesus Christ was prepared as a Saviour from before the foundation of the world. God knew what Adam and Eve would choose... in fact, he counted on it. Adam and Eve were our righteous parents. Who do you think taught their children about God, if not Adam and Eve?

God created Adam and Eve perfect and gave them the wonderful prospect of living forever on a paradise earth. As they had children, they would extend the boundaries of the Garden of Eden until it encompassed the whole earth. When they sinned, the punishment of death came upon them, and that very day they began to die. (It took their once-perfect bodies a long time to finally die.) We have to remember that they did not simply make a "mistake." They deliberately chose a course of disobedience and rebelled against God. When they had children, they could not pass on to them what they no longer possessed, namely perfection. They could only pass on to them the prospect of sin and death. It's like when you have a bread pan with a dent in it. Every time you bake a loaf of bread in that pan it will have a dent in it. So, all of their descendants (including us) have this "dent" of sin. (I Kings 8:46, Eccl 6:20, Rom 3:23) Happily, God made provision for Adam's offspring (including us) by providing the ransom sacrifice of his Son, Jesus.
It may seem like God's destroying the three rebels would have been a simple solution to the problem. But Satan did not challenge God's strength or power; he challenged his right to rule and the rightness of his rule. And Jehovah did not need to prove anything to Satan. Think of all the millions of angels who were watching to see what God would do. Satan basically said mankind would be better off without God's rulership and that he (Satan) could do a better job of ruling. Killing Satan at that time would not have answered that question in the minds of all the angels. Only allowing time for Satan to show how he would rule would settle the issue. (Read pages 109-111 of your "What Does the Bible Really Teach" book for further explanation and an excellent illustration that will help you understand it better.)
You're doing a great job of asking questions. Don't get discouraged. This is all part of the process of reasoning on the scriptures.

The Issue of Universal Sovereignty
Why did God not just destroy Adam and Eve and start over with another human pair? Because his universal sovereignty, that is, his inalienable right to rule, had been challenged.
The question was: Who has the right to rule, and whose rule is right? His being almighty and the Creator of all creatures gives God the right to rule over them. Since he is all-wise, his rule is best for all creatures. But God's rule had now been challenged. Also, was there something wrong with his creation—man? We will later examine how the question of human integrity is involved.
By man's becoming independent of God, another question was implied: Could humans do better if not ruled by God? The Creator certainly knew the answer, but a sure way for humans to find out was to allow them the total freedom they wanted. They chose that course of their own free will, so God permitted it.
By allowing humans enough time to experiment with total freedom, God would establish for all time whether humans are better off under God's rule or on their own. And the time permitted would have to be long enough to allow humans to come to what they considered the peak of their political, industrial, scientific, and medical achievements.
Therefore, God has allowed man a free rein clear down to our day to show beyond any doubt whether human rule independent of him can succeed. Thus man has been able to choose between kindness and cruelty, between love and hate, between righteousness and unrighteousness. But he has also been confronted with the consequences of his choice: goodness and peace or wickedness and suffering.

(Romans 5:12) That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned—.
I understand you. But we have a chance to live forever and become perfect in a beautiful paradise earth.
(Revelation 21:3-4) 3Â With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4Â And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
(Psalm 9:18) 18Â For not always will the poor one be forgotten, Nor will the hope of the meek ones ever perish.
(Matthew 12:20, 21) 20Â No bruised reed will he crush, and no smoldering flaxen wick will he extinguish, until he sends out justice with success. 21Â Indeed, in his name nations will hope.”
*** bh chap. 11 pp. 110-111 pars. 12-14 Why Does God Allow Suffering? ***
12 Let us consider an illustration. Imagine that a teacher is telling his students how to solve a difficult problem. A clever but rebellious student claims that the teacher’s way of solving the problem is wrong. Implying that the teacher is not capable, this rebel insists that he knows a much better way to solve the problem. Some students think that he is right, and they also become rebellious. What should the teacher do? If he throws the rebels out of the class, what will be the effect on the other students? Will they not believe that their fellow student and those who joined him are right? All the other students in the class might lose respect for the teacher, thinking that he is afraid of being proved wrong. But suppose that the teacher allows the rebel to show the class how he would solve the problem.
13 Jehovah has done something similar to what the teacher does. Remember that the rebels in Eden were not the only ones involved. Millions of angels were watching. (Job 38:7; Daniel 7:10) How Jehovah handled the rebellion would greatly affect all those angels and eventually all intelligent creation. So, what has Jehovah done? He has allowed Satan to show how he would rule mankind. God has also allowed humans to govern themselves under Satan’s guidance.
14 The teacher in our illustration knows that the rebel and the students on his side are wrong. But he also knows that allowing them the opportunity to try to prove their point will benefit the whole class. When the rebels fail, all honest students will see that the teacher is the only one qualified to lead the class. They will understand why the teacher thereafter removes any rebels from the class. Similarly, Jehovah knows that all honesthearted humans and angels will benefit from seeing that Satan and his fellow rebels have failed and that humans cannot govern themselves. Like Jeremiah of old, they will learn this vital truth: “I well know, OÂ Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.”
So see if Jehovah God just did away with Satan, the angels in heaven with him would have sorta been like"Does he have something to hide?" and it would have happened again anyway.
(2 Peter 3:13) But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.
(Isaiah 65:17) “For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart.
(Mark 10:30) who will not get a hundredfold now in this period of time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, with persecutions, and in the coming system of things everlasting life.
(John 3:16) “For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.
(John 17:3) This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.
(Isaiah 2:4) And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.
(Isaiah 65:21-24) And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat [their] fruitage. 22Â They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full. 23Â They will not toil for nothing, nor will they bring to birth for disturbance; because they are the offspring made up of the blessed ones of Jehovah, and their descendants with them. 24Â And it will actually occur that before they call out I myself shall answer; while they are yet speaking, I myself shall hear.
(Luke 23:43) And he said to him: “Truly I tell you today, You will be with me in Paradise.”
(Psalm 37:10-11) And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11Â But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

God didn't allow us to be born with sin and we aren't. Look at Ezekiel 18, the whole chapter. We are born with the consequences of Adam's sin, death. But we don't have Adam's sin. The doctrine of original sin is man-made not God made.
Mumof4-You were doing so well, why did you have to blow it. I am assuming it was a typo. God NEVER gives contradicting commands. 99% of your answer was great.

Main reason he gave us humans free will to pick and choose between right and wrong.
Note: Between what he says is right and what is wrong. Not what the relative morality of this day and age says is right or wrong.
Kind of makes life kind of like one great big Final Math Exam. You muddle through the best you can and hope your professor will forgive you for a few dropped signs along the way.

If you continue to study God's Word, you'll discover that the man-made notion of "Original sin" is NOT biblical; God thinks it's just as unfair as you do. Read Ezekiel 18:20:
"The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself."
In the rest of that chapter, God explains that it is MAN's (in)justice that accounts the sins of the fathers to the children.
The concept of Original Sin is corrupt and developed by a corrupt church. Read God's Word for yourself; believe and do what IT says, not what men say that it says.

BTW, MumOf4 starts out sounding good, but then says that God gives conflicting commands, leaving us no choice but to disobey him. That is VERY WRONG and COMPLETELY UNBIBLICAL!!!!
{This is just my shocked reaction to that absurd comment.}
