According to the scriptures...if you follow the timeline that i seem to understand...Adam and Eve would have been in the garden about 5000 years ago...however it also claims that the God created man on the sixth day of creation...which should make humans as old as the other animals...Science seems to disagree with this..I beleive that we are reading time wrong in the scriptures...or could it be that humans were aroudn before 5000 years ago but it simply wasnt recorded?

I was looking for examples. Was it a feeling? A specific outcome?

I've been pretty depressed this weekend. Normally the mass cheers me up and puts me into a super religious mood that lasts for a few days. It did cheer me up, but im down again.

I've been really thinking about it, and im only truely happy when at mass. Im not sure why, or how to be that happy the rest of the time.

Why are we seeing so many issues of Church being involved with our government? First it was with the pledge of allegiance, which for anyone who doesn't know - One nation under god- was added into the pledge during times of war, and now a county not far from mine is teaching creationism in their schools. I understand that Evolution is a theory but why not take that out of the text books instead adding something church related into our schools. That completely contradicts the separation between the two.

I of course believe God made it. for evolutionist say it just appeared. BUT the cells combined together made the universe... WRONG!!!!!!!!! if there wasn't anything, how could there be atoms and cells and things like that? Hmmm.... got you thinking. Just know that God ( the only God ) made the universe

I just came back from church, and my dad was telling me to "settle down" cuz i was really "hyper" or something. So anything i could do to eep my mind on the priest? i am a christian, so i deny evolution and know it isnt true, however, it must be pretty beliveable for so many peole to believe it.

i know that evoulutionists say that our universe was an accident, but how can that be? it has such order and its endless and splendid. and what about the first cell? where did that come from? did it just pop out of the sky one day?

We had this great praise and worship session at church. It was upbeat and everyone was singing and clapping, and then the church went dead during the pastor's sermon. He went into sounding like he was scolding the audience. He was like 'We shouldn't be worried about what we look like. We NEED to be worried about how we're doing in the presence of God." then he went into "some of us our fat. we need to stop eating gluttonously. it's a sin' and all the stuff about 'how the women need to stop dressing scantily. Wearing high skirts is unacceptable and low cut shirts is against god." 'some of us think its ok to look at pornogrophy. Enough with adulterers and homosexuals." There wasn't one clap during his sermon and the church went dead. Why do some pastors have to ruin the mood with that garbage.
