Yes, there is a medical cure for allergy to faith.

It's called a lobotomy.

Do theists have a problem respecting other people's beliefs and living without some magic man as a way of faith? Faith doesn't come from some man putting on magic shows in the sky where we can't see them. Then decides to perform some on for his favorite people just so he can get praise and attention and stop the show once he has gotten what he wanted.

Faith is very useful in the lives of most people including atheists. I call on faith when there is illness, when I desire an event to have a favorable outcome. Faith can act as a placebo and can put one in a positive state of mind to get through tough situations.

One does not have to have religion to have faith. Faith is the hope for things not evidenced. My faith is hope. Not delusion.

I wouldn't say atheists are "allergic" to faith. And atheists aren't people with a disease that prevents them from faith, and not all atheists completely shun religion, they just don't believe in it.

The only way I think to make an atheist believe in a certain religion or faith is prof.

Not at all.

I have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow and this computer is made up of molecules and atoms, even though I cannot see or prove these things, I have enough empirical evidence that they are fact.

Now if I start seeing a big man in the sky and believing angels are speaking to me,,, prescribed medication may be the answer for me.

No, there is no medication that can help anyone of any faith or non-faith.People make their decision based on life experiences and some just make these decisions because they just feel like it or were told to. You see we are all seeking for answers in life, some of us seek faith to answer all of these things for us,others feel as if faith holds no answers but only more questions. The problem is,why should question anyone. The lord says to love all....honestly should you really dislike someone if your a true christian or whatever, because true Christians hold no grudges nor hate or dislike upon anyone. They except ,love and welcome all,as far as the word of the lord is concerned. If someone chooses not to believe, whether we like it or not,we must respect our sisters and brothers in life as we respect ourselves and our beliefs. If you feel that atheists need to be saved,do not make it your duty to save anyone,we are not G-d,and you cannot save anyone who does not want to be. If you feel that these people are damned then believe so,but do not criticize, and hate. Atheists are not allergic to faith, they choose not to believe ,whether they have gone through something that has made them feel as if they should have faith no longer,or just feel as if they need more proof to say that there is more then meets the eye on this religious stuff...excepting and respecting is the key here. In life it's not who follows that will change the world but those who except in life that will make a different...Except and move on,this makes you a better person in the long wrong, now questioning and throwing slurs of ignorance is not what you hear about in prayer. Religion is everyone's choice,if some choose not to believe, then we must not push them away, for in "loving thy neighbor" is meant in all aspects, whether Gay or atheists or having other religious beliefs other then christian faith. We must show we are bigger the hate, because in hate we are no better then the ones we dislike and this has made us weak and this has made us ignorant. If you feel you do not like atheists, perhaps you do not personally know one or why they have chosen that path or even asked or cared to listen to why. This is where you have become no better then what you dislike. Can we give medication to those of ignorance? No, we cannot, but we can love and except. In exceptence,we except G-d.

No not really, it is like we are vaccinated against fallacy ...... the one you call faith in imaginary creature is one of them.

Do you need some medication to stop people from talking to empty space and having delusion that some divine creature come down from the sky?

A question like this is as pointless as asking "are Christians allergic to reason?" or "is Pigpen allergic to soap and water?" or "is a vegetarian allergic to meat?" It is a generalization and judgment together.

We find reason to be a much more useful tool than faith. With reason we can find out why things are the way they are, and what the best course of action is to fix any problems. Faith provides merely guesswork, hope, and stagnation. Hope is a good thing, but it must be applied with reason.

Not really, I have faith in various people, but I don't see the need to chose one of thousands of gods to have faith in.
