What makes you so sure you will go to Heaven..What have you done in your life that makes it a life God would approve of?

I believe that as we go through our Christian lives, we should get to that place to be "certain" that Heaven will be our destiny. I know that I do try everyday to be in the will of God. The Bible did say to be watchful as well as prayerful.

If I die right now I have no doubt I am saved and will go to Heaven. The only thing I have done to make my life one God will approve of is accept Jesus as my savior. There is nothing else I can do to make myself acceptable unto Him.

Yes, I can say for certain that I would go to heaven and be with Jesus.
And through no work of my own do I deserve such a gift. Only because I have had faith the size of a mustard seed and have accepted Jesus as my Savior am I granted eternity with Him.
When God looks at me, He sees His Son, not the undeserving person I am, because I am sanctified in Him.

To find the answers you seek to the question you have, read 1 John chapters 2 and 3. There is more to salvation than just believing that Jesus Christ died and was raised up for the sins of all mankind. Even Satan and his demons believe that. The key is to give your life to Jesus and follow His ways; not your own. As to wheather or not you're saved, look in 1 John.

I will go to heaven because I am waiting to talk to God face to face. My faith and accepting God for who He, God is approving that all the time.

I know that I will go to heaven because I have accepted Jesus as my savior. There are things that God has approved of and things He has'nt. I'll have to answer for it on judgement day.
